Finally fall has arrived in LA. We head to the library to gather books to read on this beautiful transition and take to nature to find fall inspired crafts. Over the weekend we made a leaf garland and read Leaves Fall by Loretta Holland.

Reading used to be time well spent; rewarding, enjoyable and educational. Our minds would open and be stimulated. Nowadays our generation is turning to social media as a form buying time. Reading feels more like a chore than a pleasant moment. I love to read, so I have had to figure out how to bring this discipline back in to my life even when I feel like there arn't enough hours in the day!
