Twenty-six years ago my mother was diagnosed with a meningioma. Since then she has battled 3 more benign brain tumors. It has taken 4 brain surgeries, 2 rounds of radiation and 1 course of trial chemotherapy. At one point she was in partial remission for 12 years. From the first day of diagnosis my mother looked to alternative and holistic approaches to help her through these tough times. I believe deeply that this is the reason she is alive, well and very healthy today. Over the past 2 years her tumor has become more challenging, our options are slim and grim in the western medical world, so we have been looking way deeper into integrative and alternative options. We have researched, explored so much. I am holding this space of my blog for those who have cancer. For those who need the extra resources and some additional support during their journey. I encourage you do to your own research, there is a lot of information out there. I am not a doctor, I am not trying to heal or cure cancer. Please read my disclaimer at the bottom of the page before reading this content. I hope you find something within this blog to help you feel a little bit better. I called this blog Gabylein after my mother.
